This will check to see if you are able to use our DVR hardware over your existing internet connection.

Tips:
You can enter any hostname or IP address and it will let you know if the port is open on your router.
This is a simple tool for checking port numbers quickly with our DVR, and should not be used for other purposes.
If you made sure that the port forwarding settings are correct on the router, then your ISP maybe blocking that specific port.
Try to set the DVR to another port if both the DVR port and the Forwarded ports on the router if the connection is still not successful.
